A few days ago, I found this lovely basket at a local gift shop behind my house and bought it instantly. After sitting in my cupboard for a while, I gave it a brand-new purpose: a dedicated garlic basket!

Turning a hidden gem into kitchen perfection!

Not only does it add a gorgeous pop of colour to the dining table, but the breathable net cover also keeps the garlic fresh and safe from fruit flies. Sometimes the best kitchen decor is the one you create yourself!

I am so proud to share these unique mats I created! They are made entirely by braiding and coiling strips of recycled plastic bags (poly bags). It's a wonderful way to turn household waste into colorful, durable, and useful items. It takes time, but seeing the waste transform into a beautiful piece of art is incredibly rewarding. I love doing my part for the planet while expressing my creativity! PlarnMats
