"रौशन जमाल-ए-यार से है अंजुमन तमाम..."

जगजीत सिंह जी की मखमली आवाज़ में गाई गई यह मशहूर ग़ज़ल हम सबने सुनी है। लेकिन क्या आप जानते हैं कि इश्क और मोहब्बत से शुरू होने वाली यही ग़ज़ल आगे चलकर 'इंकलाब' और देशभक्ति का एक बुलंद नगमा बन जाती है? इस अमर ग़ज़ल के रचयिता थे मौलाना हसरत मोहानी—वही महान स्वतंत्रता सेनानी और क्रांतिकारी उर्दू शायर, जिन्होंने 1921 में पहली बार देश को "इंकलाब जिंदाबाद!" का ऐतिहासिक नारा दिया था। बाद में शहीद-ए-आज़म भगत सिंह और उनके साथियों ने इस नारे को हर भारतीय के दिल में बसा दिया। हाल ही में जब जंतर-मंतर पर युवाओं ने पेपर-लीक और अव्यवस्था के खिलाफ आवाज़ उठाई, तो उन्हें 'कीड़े-मकोड़े' कहा गया। इसके जवाब में युवाओं ने 'कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी' बनाकर सड़कों पर "इंकलाब जिंदाबाद!" के नारे गूँजा दिए। हसरत मोहानी जी की इस ग़ज़ल का आखिरी शेर आज के इस युवा आक्रोश और सत्ता के रवैये पर बिल्कुल सटीक बैठता है: "अच्छा है अहल-ए-जौर (अत्याचारी) किए जाएँ सख़्तियाँ, फैलेगी यूँ ही शोरिश-ए-हुब्ब-ए-वतन (देशभक्ति की लहर) तमाम।" यह शेर हमें याद दिलाता है कि दमन से कभी आंदोलन खत्म नहीं होते। सरकारें चाहे जितना दबाव बनाएँ, अत्याचार केवल देशभक्ति की भावना और अन्याय के खिलाफ जन-आक्रोश को और बढ़ाता है। जब-जब सत्ता में अहंकार दिखता है, देश का युवा शांतिपूर्ण और काव्यात्मक तरीके से 'इंकलाब' का परचम लहरा ही देता है। जगजीत सिंह जी की आवाज़ में यह ग़ज़ल यहाँ सुनें XO

ममता की बुनावट और मेरी यादें

आज पुराने ब्लॉग की एक पोस्ट और ये तस्वीरें सामने आईं, तो दिल भर आया। साल 2013 की वे यादें, जब मेरी माँ आई.सी.यू. में अपनी सेहत से लड़ रही थीं और मैं उनके बगल में बैठकर धागों से उम्मीदें बुन रही थी। उस समय मैं माँ के लिए 'पाइनएप्पल स्क्वायर' (Pineapple Square) बना रही थी। वह सिर्फ़ एक डिज़ाइन नहीं था, बल्कि माँ के प्रति मेरी सहानुभूति, प्यार और उनके ठीक होने की एक मूक प्रार्थना थी। माँ हमेशा चाहती थीं कि मैं यह हुनर सीखूँ, उन्होंने बहुत कोशिश भी की, लेकिन शायद तब मेरा मन कहीं और था। आज जब माँ हमारे बीच नहीं हैं, मैंने उनकी विरासत और यादों को सहेजने के लिए इस कला को सीखने का संकल्प लिया। मुझे गर्व है कि आज मैं 'ग्रेनी स्क्वायर्स' (Granny Squares) बनाना सीख गई हूँ और इसे करते हुए मुझे माँ की मौजूदगी का अहसास होता है। तब

तस्वीरों में दिख रही वह गुलाबी बुनावट और माँ का वह सानिध्य आज भी मुझे हिम्मत देता है। ये धागे सिर्फ़ ऊन के नहीं हैं, ये माँ और बेटी के उस अटूट रिश्ते के हैं जो समय के साथ और गहरे होते जा रहे हैं। माँ, आपकी बहुत याद आती है। आपकी दी हुई यह कला अब मेरी पहचान और सुकून है। xoxo

Today, while looking through old magazines, this particular issue caught my eye. When Barack Obama was elected the 44th President of the United States, and coverage about him appeared in TIME Magazine, I was greatly moved by his mother and her life, and I found myself reading the article about her repeatedly. This story wasn't just about Barack Obama; it focused on the remarkable life of his mother, Stanley Ann Dunham. As an independent and intellectual anthropologist, she left Barack with his grandparents in Hawaii so she could continue her studies and work. Ann Dunham later married an Indonesian man, Lolo Soetoro, and took Barack with her to Indonesia. In Jakarta, they also had a daughter, Maya Soetoro-Ng. She completed her PhD in anthropology there and later did significant work developing a microfinance system for rural women. ओशन वेव डेकोर (Ocean Wave Decor)

यह सुंदर होम डेकोर पीस ऊन या मोटे सूती धागे (Yarn Wrapping Craft) की मदद से पुरानी खाली कांच की बोतलों से बनाया गया है। इसे बनाने के लिए आपको नीचे दी गई सामग्री चाहिए :

रिसाइक्लिंग

आवश्यक सामग्री

खाली बोतलें: अच्छी तरह साफ और सूखी हुई कांच या प्लास्टिक की बोतलें।

ऊन या धागा: नीले (Cyan) और सफेद रंग का मोटा धागा।

गोंद: फेविकोल (Fevicol) या हॉट ग्लू गन (Hot Glue Gun)।

कैंची: धागा काटने के लिए।

बनाने की विधि (Step-by-Step Process)

1. बोतल को तैयार करेंबोतल पर लगे पुराने लेबल और गोंद को गर्म पानी से धोकर पूरी तरह साफ कर लें। धागा लपेटने से पहले बोतल पूरी तरह सूखी होनी चाहिए।

2. नीचे से धागा लपेटना शुरू करें।

बोतल के बिल्कुल निचले हिस्से पर थोड़ा सा फेविकोल या हॉट ग्लू लगाएं।

धागे के सिरे को वहां चिपकाएं और धीरे-धीरे बोतल को घुमाते हुए धागे को गोल-गोल लपेटना शुरू करें।

ध्यान रखें कि धागे के फेरों के बीच में जगह (Gap) न छूटे, ताकि कांच दिखाई न दे।

3. पूरी बोतल को कवर करें। बीच-बीच में बोतल की सतह पर फेविकोल की हल्की परत लगाते रहें ताकि धागा अपनी जगह पर मजबूती से टिका रहे।

बोतल के मुंह (ऊपरी हिस्से) तक धागे को समान रूप से लपेटकर ले जाएं और अंत में गोंद लगाकर धागे को काट लें।

डिजाइन के अनुसार: दो बोतलों को पूरी तरह नीले धागे से और एक बोतल को सफेद धागे से ढकें।

4. घुमावदार डिजाइन (Spiral Design) बनाएं

सफेद बोतल के लिए:

नीले रंग का धागा लें। ऊपरी हिस्से पर थोड़ी सी बॉर्डर बनाएं, फिर धागे को लहराते हुए नीचे लाएं और नीचे एक गोल चक्र (जलेबी या स्पाइरल आकार) बनाकर चिपका दें।

नीली बोतलों के लिए:

यही प्रक्रिया सफेद धागे के साथ दोहराएं। ऊपरी मुंह पर सफेद पट्टी बनाएं और नीचे सफेद रंग का स्पाइरल चक्र बनाकर फिनिशिंग दें।
